rangamaati was formed to fight back poverty among rural women around Bengal. We currently work with over 50 marginalized women at fair wages to give them access to a safe job, sustainable income, health care, education, and a real chance to break the cycle of poverty for themselves and their families.
20 marginalized Artisan groups and social enterprises over 12 different Villages from Bengal, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan presently employed out of which almost 65 % being Female Artisan who makes each fair trade piece by hand using various cultural techniques learned and practiced over Generations.
Our goal is to promote women’s development through Traditional Art Revival, reward their work fairly and encourage them as leaders.
